Frankfurt officially known as Frankfurt am Main, is the most populous city in the German state of Hesse and the fifth-most populous city in Germany. As of the end of 2022, it had a population of approximately 773,068 inhabitants. It's an alpha world city, known for its significant economic and cultural impact. The city is located on both sides of the Main River, southeast of the Taunus mountain range, and is home to Germany's largest city forest, the Frankfurt City Forest.
